Andy Wenger (Jasper in CRACKING, Jim in MODEL HOUSE) is a director/writer/performer and co-founder of Hampants Productions. He invented the popular series Naked Dudes Read H.P. Lovecraft, and has written and directed 3 original shows (The Wrong Dick, R.I.F, The Safe Way) and was a writer of Deathwrite, a short in last year's Shocktoberfest. He lives in San Francisco's Mission District with an obnoxious cat named Frankenstein.
Barney Ford (Tourist in REVENGE) is happy to be working with the Thrillpeddlers after a rollicking company debut in Club Inferno. He has been involved in theater since 1988 performing as Mr. Lowther in Convent of the Sacred Heart's production of The Prime of Miss Jean Brody, and has been thrilled with performing ever since. He is delighted to be working with such a talented array of freaks and looks forward to many more shenanigans in the future. He thanks his wife, Frances, for all her love and support.
Birdie-Bob Watt (DONNER PARTY, Heidi in MODEL HOUSE, Keyboard in REVENGE) is a gadabout town and has been on the local scene for many years, performing in numerous San Francisco nightclubs, restaurants & theatres. Birdie has been waitress at various cafes (winning Best of the Bay Hostess in 1997), a disco denizen in many venues (Klubstitute, Nightclub Confidential, Trannyshack), and some of her memorable stage roles include Mary Haines in Jungle Red, Eve Harrington in Eve, and Christina in Christmas with the Crawfords, (all with Artfull Circle Theater). In 2009, The Bird joined the Thrillpeddlers during the 22-month run of Pearls Over Shanghai and since then has been a kingpin with the company, appearing in Hot Greeks, Vice Palace, Tinsel Tarts In A Hot Coma, Club Inferno and three Shocktoberfests; Kiss Of Blood, Fear Over Frisco, & The Bloody Debutante.
Bruna Palmeiro (Permilia in CRACKING, Velma in MODEL HOUSE, Miad/Preitess in REVENGE) was born and raised until age sixteen in the south of Brazil. Fascinated by the San Franciscan culture, Bruna, not surprisingly, fell in love fast and hard with the blood squirting, glitter ingesting talented and gender bending family: The Thrillpeddlers and Cockettes. Bruna grew up around theatre, carving her way through several different genres of plays, including live classic horror film parodies, Greek tragedies, children's fantasy acts, improvisational pieces, classic theatre, popular poignant feminist shows and more recently, The Cockettes vaudevillian drag musical extravaganzas, Pearls Over Shanghai and Tinsel Tarts in a Hot Coma with Thrillpeddlers. Being in the cast of Shocktoberfest 14 and 15 were both extremely exciting experiences for Bruna, for there's something about Grand Guignol that sets her soul on fire.
Cameron Eng (Chico in MODEL HOUSE, Cobra Dancer in REVENGE) is a producer, designer and performer focused on creating intimate and vibrant theatrical experiences with Foul Play Productions, from plays like the Princess Bride, CLUE, and Wicker Man: the Rock Opera, to events like the Faux Queen Pageant, Fallen Cosmos, Exquisite Corpse Theatre, to haunted houses like Night Shades and Meet the Campbells, to films such as the comedy Climax and training industrial for PIRE and the NIH. Shocktoberfest 16 marks his debut with the Thrillpeddlers, and he thanks Russell Blackwood for this wondrous opportunity and his husband, Terrance Alan, without whom this would not be possible.
Carol Ann Walker (DONNER PARTY, Dixie in MODEL HOUSE, Cobra Dancer in REVENGE, understudy Bess in MODEL HOUSE) is returning to The Hypnodrome after dancing her way through Club Inferno! Her past theatre credits include Side Show (Harem Girl, Vale Sister), RENT (Ensemble) and The Rocky Horror Show (Columbia) all at Altarena Playhouse, A Long Day's Journey Into Night (Cathleen) alongside Lee Meriwether at The Diego Rivera Theatre, and The Who's 'Tommy' (Ensemble) with Ray of Light Theatre. Carol is so grateful to have found an extended family with her fellow Thrillpeddlers and plans on sticking it out for the long haul! She thanks her husband David for his support and the team at ASP.
Crystal Why (understudy Dixie in MODEL HOUSE) is a performer and artist from Philadelphia. She is stoked to trade glitter for blood in Shocktoberfest 16! Crystal's alter ego, Cherry Anomaly, can be seen all over the city, but mostly at The Stud on Tuesday evenings for the avant-garde dragstravaganza known as Meow Mix. Crystal made her Thrillpeddlers debut last year as the assistant stage manager for Shocktoberfest 15: The Bloody Debutante, and performed most recently in the amazing Club Inferno. She writes spooky history shows and cheesy radio dramas in her spare time. Many thanks to Jonathan, for his patience and understanding. Oh! And I love you!
Damien Chacona (Eustice in CRACKING, Matt in REVENGE) has been doing theater throughout San Francisco for nearly 12 years. He's co-founder of Ham Pants Productions, where he's co-written dozens of plays, short plays, and sketches (i.e.: short-short plays.) This is his second Shocktoberfest. Damien is also a multimedia sculptor of no renown, something of a carpenter, and a cheap date.
David Bicha (Roy in MODEL HOUSE, Prince Cobra in REVENGE) made his Hypnodrome debut just this past summer as "Sister" Aimee Semple McPherson in Club Inferno. Over 23 years in performing in San Francisco, David's appeared in Christmas With the Crawfords (five times), Dirty Little Showtunes! (3), Scalpel! The Musical, Scrumbly Koldewyn's Die Wilde Buhne, The Andrews Sisters Hollywood Canteen, The Divine Sister and Dear Harvey, just to name a few. His performance is dedicated to his husband and partner of 20 years, David Mahr.
Dee Nathaniel (Ellie in CRACKING, DONNER PARTY, Pepper in MODEL HOUSE, Cobra Dancer in REVENGE) made her Hypnodrome debut in Jewels of Paris. She is extremely happy to be involved in another Thrillpeddlers show. Her past roles have included The Wrong Dick (Back-End Cassidy), The Fifth Element (The President), Firefly (Zoe) and Top Guys (Ensemble). She's excited to feel like she's hit her stride as a performer. She does a little dancing and singing and acting here and there but her biggest talent is her shameless lack of shame. She'll do just about anything (seriously...anything) to make you laugh. Not only that, but she's elicited the help of the Sparkleponies, a quirky burlesque troupe whose antics will entice and confuse you.
Diogo Zavadzki (understudy Cobra Woman in REVENGE) is an actor, performer, singer, guitarist, songwriter and dancer. Born May 8, 1984, in Curitiba, Brazil. He started performing at the age of 5 when he started doing folk dancing in South Brazil. At the age of fifteen he started getting involved with ballroom dance and practicing the guitar often spending ten hours a day practicing before eventually joining bands where he found his passion for singing. He started Law School at the age of 19 but 5 years later he realized he couldn't stay away from his art, even if he tied; a friend got him interested in theater classes and within a month he he became involved in a local theatre and hasn't looked back for 9 years. Working with many companies in so many productions and now working with Thrilpeddlers where he's performed in Pearls Over Shanghai, Shocktoberfest 15: The Bloody Debutante and Club Inferno.
Earl Alfred Paus (Vince in MODEL HOUSE, Puppy in REVENGE) is an Actor/Performance Artist/Clown, he's been in 2 Thrillpeddlers shows, his first being his most notable in the Cockettes musical Pearls Over Shanghai as Chop- Chop and you may have seen his throbbing member literally get chop-chopped in last years Shocktoberfest 15: The Bloody Deubutante. Earl Alfred as his boylesque-clown "Koy" has toured this year in New York with Original Cockette Rumi Missabu's production of The Questioning of John Rykener as a dancer and choreographer and danced in Rumi's Fall Tour 14' in Keeping the Tigers Away at the Judson Memorial Church, in Manhattan. Koy has also performed at Bizarre Bushwick in Brooklyn and is proud to be a Filipino-American performer having performed at San Francisco's SOMArts and Bindlestiff Studios. Thrilled for this year's Shocktoberfest, Earl Alfred is on a constant journey to discover spiritual forms of movement and dramatic expression and with that, plans on devising more political and social forms of physical theatre that will fondle multiple audiences around the world!
J Iness (DONNER PARTY, Mel or "Doc" in MODEL HOUSE, Wolf Ritual Chorus in REVENGE) has been singing for twenty years, having taught himself to sing classically as a teenager during countless hours of mowing lawns. He began performing in San Francisco six years ago as a member of the Gay Men's Chorus and Vocal Minority, performing in all major venues in the city and greater Bay Area. The chorus introduced J to the world of drag and gave him the illustrious honor of being (he believes) the tallest drag queen to ever grace the stage at Davie's Symphony Hall. He spent the last two years as a chorus and principal singer with West Bay Opera and this December will be reprising his roles as Justin and Catriona with cast of Ab Fab Live. This is his third Thrillpeddlers show.
John Flaw (Big John in CRACKING, DONNER PARTY, Chief Preist in REVENGE) is consumed by the desire to constantly perform on stages. It's a blessing and a curse. It all began with his acceptance into some of San Francisco's finest youth theatre groups, such as SFArtsED and Young People's Teen Musical Theatre Company, playing roles like The Boss in Side Show and Sweeney Todd in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Mr. Flaw played The Wolf in Ray of Light Theatre's 2013 production of Sondheim's Into The Woods. He made his Trillpeddlers debut in the title role in Shocktoberfest 14: Jack the Ripper and has since been a continuous member of the company appearing as Chang in Pearls Over Shanghai , Virgil in Club Inferno and other memorable roles. He has come to the conclusion that the world is a better place with a little song and dance (not to mention a bit of fake blood). When he's not busy hanging around The Hypnodrome, Flaw can be found singing and strumming a guitar for local drunk-folk band Vagabondage.
Katrina Kroetch (Devka in CRACKING, DONNER PARTY, Laverne in MODEL HOUSE, Cobra Dancer in REVENGE) is honored to make her debut at her first Shocktoberfest.
Her love for theater began in Portland where she had an internship at the Northwest Children's Theater and Played Rocky in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Since moving to SF her love of drag, horror, glitter, and all things musical has only grown. She has attended Clown Conservatory, studied at Berkeley Rep, become a professional princess and balloon twister at children's parties, done burlesque, clowning, improv at Second City Hollywood, worked with Theater Rhino, Wily West Productions, Playwrights Center of San Francisco, and many others. She is in two dance troupes: The Decobelles and Fou Fou Ha! She also does commercial modeling and acting and recently signed with Nylo Model and Talent Agency. You can see her in a variety of commercials and ads from Goorin Brothers Hats to Firefox. Fun fact- She is the first person in Playboy history to audition and juggle in her underwear. Michael is extremely thrilled, grateful, and incredibly humbled to be making his debut as a 'Thrillpeddler' in this Shocktoberfest!
Noah Haydon (Bess in MODEL HOUSE, Cobra Woman in REVENGE) is very excited to be back on the Thrillpeddlers stage having appeared already this year in Jewels of Paris (Café Singer) and Club Inferno (Cleopatra, Marie Antoinette, and Durga). He has done commercials for MTV, Long's Drug Store and Jamba Juice, as well as voice over work for Microsoft, Bagel Bites and Banana Republic. Noah would like to thank his talented cast, his friends, his family, and Bobby for all the love and support.
Owen Asdell (Rusty in MODEL HOUSE, Wolf Ritual Chorus in REVENGE) has been jack-of-all-tradsing his way around the Bay as a fine artist, crafter, burlesque performer, poet, drag queen, graphic designer, maker, & photographer for over a decade. He joined the Thrillpeddlers' crew during Club Inferno and is excited to be making his acting debut on The Hypnodrome stage. Since Owen's partner, Tommy, is in the show, he'd like to dedicate his performance to his dog, Amos.
Tommy Salami (DONNER PARTY, Shawn in MODEL HOUSE, percussion in REVENGE) marked his Thrillpeddlers debut with Club Inferno. He is a member of local purveyors of hot, cheesy country music, Velvetta, with fellow Thrillpeddlers, Ruby Vixen, Leigh Crow and Tim Perdue, and is a founder of the White Horse Inn's long running drag king show. Tommy is also a member of the cast of Oakland-based LGBT web series Dyke Central as Zack. Tommy would like to dedicate his performance to the victims of the Butte Fire, and to the memory of Ramblin' Deacon Marc Fry.
